Slob55.com is a website honoring the life and ideals of the late Coach Steve Studer. A man of extreme will power and passionate leadership, Coach Stu led a life that abided by a strict moral, ethical, and disciplined code. Stu was completely dedicated to improving not only himself on a daily basis, but more importantly the individuals that were fortunate enough to be around him. His very presence demanded an intense sense of work ethic, enthusiasm, unselfishness, honor, and an unflinching desire to be the absolute best one could be.
In contrast to modern society, Stu shunned the simple and easy roads of life that plague the individual and often prevent greatness. He embraced the path of hard work and dedication and preached it's benefits the the men he mentored. By doing so, he proved that by completely committing yourself to an ideal, success is inevitable.
Coach Studer's oxymoronic nickname, "Slob", has become a representation of his ideals since his untimely death in February of 2004. The athletes, warriors, and unflinching pursuers of a higher path carry on his legend. They are the aggressive warriors in a world plagued with weakness.
They are the essence of Slob.
